We saved the best for last this Esquire Townhouse.

Welcome back to the Esquire Townhouse, our annual event that sees the Middle East’s leading men’s magazine come to life over three days, through a series of activations, talks, masterclasses, private dinners and a whole lot more.

Today was special for a few different reasons, none more so than the delightful Hackett room. Yes, Hackett brought a distinctively British feel to this year’s Townhouse and was showing off not just its main autumn winter clothing selection, but also some special pieces produced in partnership with Aston Martin.

Of course, we need to make a special acknowledgement here on day three, and that’s for the Townhouse itself. Yes, this 60 million dirham house on Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah goes by another name when it’s not The Esquire Townhouse. Twenty Two Carat is a collection of uber-luxurious villas known for their flawless attention to detail – both inside, and out.

After touring our townhouse, our VIP guests were then treated to a delicious lunch, courtesy of the team at Blue Marlin Ibiza. Yes, while this Dubai party spot isn’t known for its food yet, it’s about to be. Guests sat outside enjoying stunning views of the Dubai Marina while tasting some of the best Spanish tapas in town.

After lunch, we went straight into our panel talks. Up first was Careem’s very own Khaled Nuseibeh, who talked to our crowd about the world of technology, travel and what it’s like working for one of the Middle East’s most innovative companies.

Next up was Amy Sessions, from The List. She spoke about the challenges of e-commerce in the region, as well as where the technology is likely to go. In this spirited discussion, she shared her thoughts on what separates The List from its competitors online.

And I am not sure if you noticed, but throughout the Townhouse everyone has been spectacularly dressed. That’s down in part to one brand, Sartor. Yes, the incredibly popular Dubai-based tailor shop was here at Townhouse in force, educating our guests on the ins-and-outs of bespoke suiting, as well as measuring a few of our lucky guests for suits for themselves.

As the sun set over the skyline, guests of the Townhouse took in the lovely view while enjoying drinks from the dashing folks at Miramoto Dubai. The team at the Zodiac Bar mixed up a storm, from delicious custom creations to maddeningly good mocktails.

It was over those drinks that our editor in chief – Matthew Baxter Priest – thanked our VIP guests for coming along to 2018’s Esquire Townhouse. And while the night saw the official ending of our event, it certainly won’t be the last you hear about Townhouse.

All next week we’re going to be bringing you more exclusive videos from within the townhouse. So be sure to check back for that or, you could hit that subscribe button so you don’t miss a single video.
