That’s why the West End performance ‘Thriller Live’ has clocked in more than 4,000 performances over its ten-year history and is now finally taking the show on the road. The performance – which charts Jackson’s 45-year musical career – will show at the Dubai Opera in March of next year.
The show includes hits all the way back from The Jackson 5 through to his solo career, including hit songs from his most successful period (1982 – 1995), along with songs from Thriller, Bad and Dangerous.
The performance aims to transport the audience back to some of Jackson’s most impressive performances, including the same revolutionary dance moves. Speaking at the announcement, Jasper Hope, chief executive at the Dubai Opera, couldn’t hold back his excitement, “Thriller Live has been a smash hit show for more than a decade now in the West End and around the world and I can’t wait till the cast moonwalk their way onto the Dubai Opera stage.”
Thriller Live performances are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, March 26-28 2019 – 8 pm and Friday and Saturday, March 29 and 30 2019 – 2.30pm and 8 pm
