Years after the collapse of civilization, people will continue to seek out gourmet hotdogs and organic, cold-brew coffee. Well, that is our future if the lastest venue of the UAE’s Last Exit ‘truck stop’ mall is anything to go by.
Themed after the film Mad Max, the apocalyptic-chic food-truck food court will be the fourth to be opened by developers Meraas, following the success of previous installements (near Ghantoot, Al Qudra and Al Khawaneej) over the past year.
Officially opening on August 10, and titled ‘The Last Exit: Mad X’, the new location be the largest of the four, filling the enormous 500,000sqft lot with abandoned cars, war rigs and monster trucks littered among the 11 food trucks.
Similar to the other The Last Exit’s the food trucks will be serving up burgers, bao buns, Thai street food, and Southern fried chicken everyday for 24-hours.

Since Meraas opened its original ‘The Last Exit – E11’ in July 2016, the middle-of-nowhere location and cool aesthetics of ‘The Last Exit’ brand has really struck a chord with people happy to make the journey out of the city limits for some on-trend street food.
