Gourmet hotdogs, truffle and parmesan popcorn, wild mushroom biryani fritters – are the dishes you’d expect to see at a fancy, hipster-friendly food truck not a cinema. Well, for Abu Dhabi residents that it about to change.
Two Vox cinemas in the UAE capital (Yas Mall and Nation Galleria ) will be introducing the ‘Theatre by Rhodes’ food concept – one that has been hugely popular since debuting in Dubai at the end of last year. With dishes created by British celebrity chef Gary Rhodes, including crab and asparagus bruschetta and an upside down strawberry cheesecake mousse, it has made watch a film in the UAE even more pampered.
Both cinemas are opening this week.
