James Bond is coming to Dubai. Well, kind of. It’s been fifty years since the creation of the franchise and to celebrate the smooth style of the easy-going yet lethal character an exhibition, ‘Designing 007’, will showcase items that were used for filming, you know, guns, cars and suits, the whole Bond style package.
To make it even better, three Bond girls from various films will visit Dubai as part of the half century celebrations at The Annex, Burj Khalifa

To give you a taster, the exhibition will involve items such as items such as Scaramanga’s Golden Gun from The Man with the Golden Gun, Daniel Craig’s wardrobe from Casino Royale and the Spectre Aston Martin DB10. Yes, all of which will be what they actually used on set.
Worry not gentlemen, there will also be women involved. First off, Caterina Murino will be attending, who appeared in Casino Royale as Solange Dimitrios. Need your memory jogged? She first meets Bond when he challenges her husband to a suspenseful game of cards before leaving in Mr. Dimitrios’ Aston Martin. Remember? We thought so.
The next Bond girl joining the 50th anniversary celebrations will be Irka Bochenko, who appeared in the bond movie Moonraker, alongside Roger Moore in his fourth performance as Bond. Lastly, Skyfall‘s Tonia Sotiropoulou will make an appearance.
Just to top it off, Reel Cinemas and Dubai Aquarium at the Dubai mall also have many themed celebrations planned, if you’re a Bond fan, it’s one you really shouldn’t miss. An exhibition with real movie props, Bond-themed aquariums and three beautiful women, it’s a must.
