It’s one of the most advanced health and fitness trackers on the market

The new Fitbit Charge 4 has come to take your summer blues away; and brings with it a host of advanced health and fitness tracking features (along with a whole lot more).

The new Charge 4 looks very much like Fitbit’s previous efforts, but those are merely skin deep. The Charge 4 is very much beyond your average fitness tracker. Under the attractive hood you get built-in GPS, Spotify control and other high-end features typically found in smartwatches, not fitness bands, such as Fitbit Pay, app notifications, sleep monitoring tools, and smart wake alarms.

With built-in GPS wearers no longer need to cart their phones around with them on a bike ride, or run. The device will automatically log your route, as well as workout information – and then sync it all wirelessly with your phone the next time they are within range.

But the best thing about the new Fitbit? For the first time, the Charge 4 also comes with a new metric called Active Zone Minutes. It automatically recognizes when your heart rate is at a sustained and heightened level, and counts those minutes you are ‘active’.

Active Zone Minutes, is a new and more personalized way to measure your physical activity. Using Fitbit’s 24/7 PurePulse heart rate tracking, the“Active Zones” are automatically counted and personalized to you, based on your resting heart rate and age. These Active Zones can be counted with a HIIT workout or something as easy as gardening.

That’s to ensure the wearer gets a full 30 active minutes each and every day.

Want to upgrade from the previous Charge 3 model? The Charge 4 is exactly the same dimension – meaning you can use the same easily changeable bands.

But that’s not all you get with the new Fitbit Charge 4. You can also access video workouts to help people stay active at home, learn how to manage your stress and other useful tips.

“Our mission has always been to help people around the world get healthier. In today’s extraordinary times, that mission is more important than ever, but we realize how hard it is to focus on your health and wellness. However, staying active, eating well and getting enough sleep can help reduce stress and boost immunity,” said James Park, CEO and co-founder.

“To help support our users, we’re offering a free trial of Fitbit Premium and added content so our users have the right tools at home to help them stay healthy; and, with Active Zone Minutes, we are giving users a new personalized standard for health and fitness so they can get the most out of any activity that works for them and help to keep them motivated.”

The Fitbit Charge 4 is available right now for AED699, while the Charge 4 Special Edition is available for AED799. Both can be picked up via noon.com
