Popstar Pharrell Williams has just unveiled a new cosmetics line.
Humanrace is a genderless, vegan and fragrance-free like of skincare products that come together to create the ‘three minute facial’. It involves a Rice Powder Cleanser, Lotus Enzyme Exfoliator and Humidifying Cream.
Pharrell partnered up with dermatologist Dr. Elena Jones to help create and formulate the products, and the general idea is to focus on hydration (which apparently is very important to Pharrell).
According to dermatologist Jones, “This routine is formulated from Pharrell’s skin-care experience… We adhered to the European standard of 1,300 banned ingredients as an important starting point and then we went further to develop our own restrictions.”
“We worked to create products that had no rocks, nuts, seeds or plastic particles in our formulas to ensure no microtears occur which can result in damaging your skin.”
Sustainability is at the very core of the Humanrace brand, and each component is refillable and reusable, and created from more than 50 per cent recycled material.
It is available right now via the Humanrace website.
