Men in Dubai have all let out a collective sigh of relief. Barbershops in Dubai are now open after a thorough sanitation drive.
The shops opened in the last week of April after the Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management announced a change in lockdown restrictions in Dubai.
However, while they’ve been allowed to open their doors to customers, barbershops have to follow stringent sanitation and safety measures. For one, they can only accept customers who make an appointment before hand.
Shops can also only operate with 30 percent of their staff at a time. There are also restrictions in place when it comes to operating hours and they can accept only 30% of their capacity at any given time.
Customers and staff also need to wear a mask at all times.
