Just in time of the New Year, Samsung has unwrapped two new versions of its Galaxy S10 and Note 10.
The ‘Lite’ versions of the smartphone are purportedly easier on the wallet and promise premium tech on a budget.
Like their more expensive counterparts, both new phones are equipped with the same camera tech, the brand’s S Pen technology, and a longer-lasting battery.
The Galaxy S10 Lite features a wide-angle camera and ultra-wide camera as well as Macro mode, along with a super steady mode including optical image stabilization.
The new Note is geared toward productivity and features the S Pen which uses Bluetooth Low-energy support. This lets people navigate their phone, play video content or scribble down notes. Handwritten notes can even be converted to text.
Both new devices have 6.7-inch screens, with a hole-punch Infinity-O display. They also include a 4,500mAh battery, as well as fast-charging support.
Both new phones will be on display at CES 2020, which runs from January 7 to January 10 in Las Vegas. While there are limited price and release details, the smart money is that both will cost less than their flagship counterparts, which cost US$900 and US$950 respectively.
