Small ultraportables tend to come with big tradeoffs – not so Asus latest Zenbook 13, which comes fully-loaded with Intel’s latest generation processors, on-board graphics and an OLED screen.
Those familiar with the Zenbook line will immediately recognize the build. It’s made of the same diamond-cut aluminium material as the rest of the line, and that produces an incredibly thin and light chassis.
That makes this new Zenbook good looking and hard wearing (so much so in fact, that the Zenbook 13 has received a US Military Standard Benchmark for use in tough conditions).

But that beauty isn’t just skin deep. The Zenbook 13 comes with a brand new OLED screen, which should give you some pretty incredible colour and brightness levels (it has a million to 1 contrast ratio).
Elsewhere, you get Intel’s 11th generation Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM and a terabyte of solid state memory. Intel’s new Xe graphics also make an appearance, which – while won’t have you playing the latest games – does give this little laptop some grunt under the hood.
The Zenbook 13 OLED also has quick-charging via its Type-C USB Easy Charge. That will let you go from 2-60 per cent charged in just 49 minutes.
The laptop is available right now, from all good tech stores.
