Apple‘s iPhone 12 is officially the world’s highest-selling 5G smartphone.
The phone has taken the title – according to Counterpoint Research – despite only being on store shelves for the past three months. According to the researchers, Apple now owns a quarter of the 5G market across the world.
The news is somewhat unexpected given the launch was delayed from September to October due to supply chain issues which were impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
The brand’s iphone 12 Pro – which came out at the same time as the iPhone 12 – is currently the second highest-sold 5G smartphone, followed by the Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G.
