That’s one heck of a price tag for a remote

Bang & Olufsen has just introduced a US$900 dollar Beoremote Halo, a one-button LCD touch remote control.

The device – which costs as much as some home theatre systems – will pair up with the brand’s sound systems. The Beoremote Halo controller features an anodized aluminum ring design, with a touch interface to control equalisation, volume and more.

Currently, it works with several of Bang & Olufsen’s speakers including Beolab, Beoplay A9 and Beosoundh Shape. It can also connect to multiroom speakers, so you can control playback and volume from different parts of the house.

The remote comes with a table stand, because if you are going to spend US$900 on a remote control the world had better be able to see it.

The Beoremote Halo Remote for $900 USD is available right now at Bang & Olufsen’s webstore.
