Smartphone-maker releases new Motion smartphone, with a massive battery in place of its fan-favourite keyboard

Like the BlackBerry KeyOne that was released earlier in the year, the BlackBerry Motion smartphone hasn’t so much arrived with a bang, rather the idle musings of, “oh hey, BlackBerry is still going huh?”

But yes – the BlackBerry Motion is here, and it’s not too shabby.

The new model removes the brand’s signature keyboard for a large 5.5-inch 1080p display that takes up the entirety of the front. Inside, there’s 32GB of storage (which isn’t very much considering the smallest iPhone you can pick-up packs 64GB under the hood), a 12-megapixel camera, 4GB of RAM, a speedy Snapdragon processor and a massive 4,000 mAh battery.

Google‘s Android operating system runs the show, however it has been highly customised by BlackBerry to focus on security-focused apps, making this the ideal blower for those worried about their privacy.
