BMW has done it again. The new M2 CS is here – and it’s raising the bar for what a compact high-performance sports car should be. Think more power, sharper handling, and head-turning design, all wrapped into one thrilling machine.
Whether you’re tearing up the track or just enjoying the drive home, this is a car built to deliver pure joy behind the wheel.
This exclusive special edition continues BMW’s proud performance lineage – one that started with the legendary 2002 turbo, evolved with the 1 Series M Coupé, and took a bold leap forward with the first M2 CS back in 2019. The latest chapter was revealed in style at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, on the edge of Lake Como – because of course it was.

The new BMW M2 CS is based on the second generation of the BMWM2 and significantly improves what is already an extraordinary level of performance. For example, the high-revving six-cylinder in-line engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology develops an impressive 530 hp in the BMW M2 CS. That is 50 hp more than in the current BMW M2.
As such, the BMW M2 CS matches the performance of the BMW M3 Competition Sedan with M xDrive and the BMW M4 Competition Coupé with M xDrive. The BMW M2 CS sends its power to the rear wheels via the eight-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic, which comes as standard.

With its improved peak performance, the new BMW M2 CS is consolidating its claim to top spot in the compact high-performance segment. This performance specification is achieved by modifying the engine management and provides further proof of the outstanding potential of the six-cylinder in-line engine developed by BMW M GmbH, which also serves as the basis for the power unit used in the BMW M4 GT3 EVO racing car.
Production is happening at BMW’s San Luis Potosí plant in Mexico, and yes, it’s a limited run, just like all good things from BMW M GmbH. So if you want one, you’ll need to move fast.
Whether you’re a collector, a weekend warrior, or just someone who appreciates precision engineering and aggressive good looks, the BMW M2 CS might be the compact sports car of your dreams.
