No Geneva Motor Show, no problem! We have all the car launches covered

The Swiss government has banned all public events of more than a 1000 people. Which means some of the most sought after events on our annual calendar, ie, the Geneva Motor Show have been canned as well. But there’s no need to worry, we’ve got all the latest car launches right here on Esquire Middle East.

After the cancellation of the 2020 Geneva International Motor Show, Mercedes-Benz will digitally present all its new launches.

Instead of a big launch to hug fanfare on the floor show, the scheduled executive talk regarding the world premiere of the new E-Class with Daimler AG board members Ola Källenius, Britta Seeger and Markus Schäfer is now being moved to a studio in Stuttgart, Germany, and it will be broadcast live at 11:30 am Dubai time on Tuesday, March 3 below.

The company posted a teaser on Mercedes-Benz’s Facebook page, that shows the current E-Class All-Terrain wagon out on the rough roads. Stay tuned for about this model tomorrow.

According to the official release, “Beside the comprehensively updated and upgraded E-Class, the focus is on the continuous electrification of Mercedes-Benz models – featuring various new members of the compact car hybrid family as well as new engine variants with integrated starter generator (ISG) and 48-volt technology”.

Another talk broadcasted live will be a “motorsports and sustainability” talk with Lewis Hamilton, Toto Wolff, Markus Schäfer and Nyck de Vries.
