McLaren MSO 720S is a stealth bomber for the roads

Cars and aircraft have always had a weird symbiotic relationship, and that’s never been more evident than in today’s world. 

Aircraft-grade materials are regularly trotted out on the factory floors of hypercar makers the world over, and some of today’s speediest motors make use of technology more akin to jet engines than four-wheeled ones. 

A good example of this is the latest creation from McLaren’s Special Operations division; the 720S Stealth (along with a Sarthe Grey exterior). It ‘s a cross between McLaren’s1995 LeMans-winning F1 motor and a black military stealth fighter. Red highlights accent the aerodynamic lines of the supercar, which takes a single person more than 200-hours of work to pin down.

Under the hood, the 720S gets a 10-spoke lightweight alloy wheel in the same colour treatment as the body. 

Bad news if you fancy picking up one for the garage; this is a special one-off for a McLaren dealer based out of London.
