The capital saw a star-studded event this weekend. Here’s what happened behind the scenes at Chivas’ The Art of Patience Abu Dhabi event.
Some things can’t be rushed. Be it a good book, the making of a fine watch or – in the case of last Thursday’s Chivas event – a stellar evening among friends.
The capital played host to a celebration of all things slow, beautiful and complex. More than 100 VIP guests were invited to explore ‘The Art of Patience’ via activations and a brand talk that introduced the notion that some things in life – the best things – can’t be rushed.

The event was hosted at the St Regis Abu Dhabi, along the capital’s corniche, inside the stunning St Regis Bar (which is a true testament to gentleman’s clubs of old – complete with plush leather sofas and its very own library filled with old books).
The event attracted some of the city’s most high profile guests, who rubbed shoulders over drinks and canapes; and the party continued into the wee hours. And just like every Chivas event, good fun was had by all.
