The British manufacturer has shown off designs for a limited edition ‘Triton’ submarine

Aston Martin has taken a leaf out of James Bond‘s book of tricks, producing a space-aged submarine with help from the underwater experts at Triton submarines. It looks like Aston Martin will be keeping all its performance, beauty and elegance, but this time in a completely different market.

“Project Neptune” combines Triton’s diving and operational expertise with Aston Martin’s design, materials, and craftsmanship. According to Aston Martin Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman, ‘Project Neptune is defined by its sleek, elegant exterior’.

Triton on the other hand, will be bringing in their years of expertise as they stay committed to producing the safest and best performing, deep-diving submersibles in the world.

Patrick Lahey, President of Triton Submarines LLC said, “We have always admired Aston Martin. The marque represents a deeply held passion for technology, engineering and timeless, elegant design. From our first interaction, it was apparent that Triton and Aston Martin were natural partners and our complimentary values will be realised in this truly exciting project.”

For now though, we are yet to dive into any specs; Aston Martin and Triton are yet to announce anything about the price, speed or distance. The 3-person submarine, which was inspired by the Valkyrie hyper car, is just a concept for now.

You like us must be wondering, could we get a sneak peak of this project in the final ever Daniel Craig-James Bond movie? I mean, we’ve seen him cruise in Aston Martins numerous times…. Only time will tell.
