Asus has pulled the wraps off a new generation of its ROG gaming laptops, including new products and powerful new updates.
Our favourites include the all-new Flow X13, as well as the AMD-powered Strix G15, as well as the SCAR 15 and 17 series (which have the fastest laptop displays in the world).
The Flower X13 is probably the most interesting, as it marks ROG’s latest entry into the world of ultraportable gaming (presumably for e-sports down the local Starbucks). You get an AMD Ryzen 9 5980 HS processor, as well as an NVIDIA GeForce GTX1650. There are two displays to choose from, a 120Hz regular panel or a high-resolution 4K screen.
For those who prefer raw power, Asus has upgraded its Strix G15 laptop with a new AMD Ryzen 9 processor, and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card. That supports up to 2TB of storage, 32GB of speedy RAM, as well as a 300Hz display.
Elsewhere, both the SCAR 15 and 17 e-sports models have been upgraded with what Asus is calling, “the world’s fastest laptop displays”. The refresh rate comes in at a whopping 360Hz. You also get an AMD Ryzen 9 processor, and a GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card.
The entire range will be available later last night.
