To celebrate everyone’s favorite mustachioed plumber turning 35 this year, Mario has booted out Luigi in favor of a new partner: Jeff Bezos’ and Amazon.
The new dynamic duo are celebrating in a number of ways. The first, is that Amazon packages may arrive at your house in a Mario and Luigi-themed box.
The second, is that the pair have put together a special 35th anniversary page on Amazon’s website, that lets you explore products, the history of the videogame plumber, as well as answer trivia questions.
Hidden on one of the pages is a “My Nintendo” mission pop-up. Hit that, and follow the prompts to complete the mission and you will earn yourself 100 Platinum Points (those points can be redeemed via the Nintendo Store online).
The web-based Nintendo mission and Mario-themed boxes will continue until the end of the year.
