Popular game will make the most of Apple’s new A14 Bionic processor

During Apple’s iPhone 12 launch event, Riot Games was keen to mention that it would be porting over its popular strategy RGP to the iPhone.

League of Legends: Wild Rift should play “just as the developers intended it to” thanks to the iPhone’s A14 Bionic processor. Add 5G connectivity into the mix, and you should be able to play just about anywhere says Apple.

The A14 processor is touted to be 50 per cent quicker than the last one, with up to 70 per cent better graphics. That should make playing League of Legends pretty sharp (which is important, considering this is a competitive game after all).

League of Legends is currently the most downloaded and played PC game on earth. For those unawares, it lets you take control of playable heroes who face off on a battlefield. It is equal parts strategy as it is building up your character’s power and skills.

While Apple was keen to own the news, Riot has been testing out Wild Rift on Android for a few months now. It’s thought that when the game does arrive on iPhone, it will also be available on top-specced Android devices, too.

League of Legends: Wild Rift will arrive on iOS and Android by December this year.
