The launch date for Treyarch’s next Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War game appears to have leaked: it will hit the PlayStation 4 on November 13, 2020.
Activision remained unusually tight-lipped when it came to the announcement of the new game. It has been teasing the next installment of the Black Ops saga for months now, using its Warzone battle royal game to build the hype.
It then released a teaser trailer, and the full trailer is expected to land tomorrow. The rumour comes from longtime games insider Charlie Intel.
The leak also points to a special multiplayer reveal on September 9, which will give CoD fans a chance to see new game modes. It’s expected that alongside Black Ops Cold War’s single player, there will also be a Zombies mode.
All of this is expected to be confirmed tomorrow, when the next title and launch date will be officially confirmed by Activision. Not long now.
