Sony gave fans their first proper look at its next-generation PlayStation 5 this weekend.
Almost as exciting as seeing the proper hardware, was the list of exclusive titles that will be joining the PS5 on launch day.
Highlights include an entirely new-era of Spider-Man games with Miles Morales, and Horizon Forbidden West.
You can check out our favourite launch trailers below:
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
Miles is not yet in The Avengers, but Morales was a big part of 2018’s Into the Spider-Verse film and played a small role in the PS4 hit Spider-Man game. No coincidence, Morales will play a much bigger part in the sequel to that game (a demo of which was used to show the incredibly fast load times of the PS5).
Horizon Forbidden West
The sequel to one of PlayStation’s biggest exclusive games. Forbidden West picks up in Horizon’s post-apocalyptic world where machines have become the wildlife. Forbidden west will see you explore the former United States of America.
Rachet & Clank: Rift Apart
The PlayStation 5 will see the return of the beloved action adventure franchise, and will see the dynamic duo move from one dimension to another (basically, in real time).
Gran Turismo 7
Gran Turismo has long been a staple launch title for any new PlayStation console, and the PS5 is no different. The new GT game will see some of the best graphics ever seen on a console, as well as some of the world’s most realistic simulated racing.
Resident Evil Village
Technically Resident Evil 8, Village will see a return to form to horror for the franchise. You play the game in first-person perspective in what is being hailed as a playstyle remake for the PS5.
Stray
The most out-there launch title for the PS5, Stray takes place in the near future and sees you play the role of a lost cat.
