Sorry chopper fans, no more flying around Warzone

The latest update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has arrived, with the biggest change being there’s no more helicopters in the game’s warzone Battle Royale mode.

While it has not been said why the choppers were removed, it’s thought to be most likely because of an exploit that let players earn cheap wins and kills in the final circle.

Elsewhere in the update, the game mode Blood Money Trios has replaced Plunder Trios; the new mode is similar to the last where players drop cash when killed, just a bit more fast-faced.

Cranked 3v3 Gunfifght and Ground War playlists are now gone. Shoot the Ship has been renamed Shipment 24/7 and Gun Game is now Gun Game Reloaded.

Infinity Ward also incudeld both Demolition and Boots on the Ground game modes.

It is celebrating the new patch with double XP, double weapon XP and double tiers all weekend.
