The world famous chef’s only restaurant outside of Italy is open once again

World famous chef and previous Esquire cover star Massimo Bottura has reopened Torno Subito, his Italian restaurant in Dubai.

The mastermind behind the 50 Best Restaurants-winning Osterai Francescana has re-opened the doors of his restaurant, located at the W Dubai on The Palm. The restaurant has been closed for the past five months.

During the closure, Torno Subito’s chef de cuisine Bernardo Paladini moved back to his home country to help his boss help spread the world about healthy home cooking during lockdown, as well as to hone his skills under Bottura’s watchful eye.

The restaurant is Massimo Bottura’s only restaurant outside of Italy. It previously ranked in the top 15 of Esquire’s Best Restaurants List.

The restaurant is now open on just for dinner weekdays, and for lunch and dinner on weekends. There are new safety measures in place to protect against covid-19, including a reduced number of diners allowed in the restaurant as well as less tables inside.

In case you missed it, Torno Subito is Massimo Bottura’s third restaurant (and the only one outside of Italy). It’s located at the W Dubai – the Palm.
