TripAdvisor has revealed the most requested travel experiences for 2019.
Previously, the travel website said that luxury experiences took the top spots in recent years, but now interest in outdoor activities and nature-related travel is on the rise. Acccording to the website, there has been a 56 per cent jump in booking for activities based around the great outdoors.
Snorkleing between tectonic plates in Iceland and white water rafting in New Zealand are indeed, the new norm. Both ranked among the top 10 travel experiences according to the website.
The most-requested experience in the United States is – shockingly – an architectural river cruise of Chicago.
