A huge 12-hour block party is set to rock the capital this weekend.
The event will feature A-list artists – including DJ Jazzy Jeff – performing from a dedicated concert venue at The Galleria Al Maryah Island.
Some concerts will be held from The Galleria Al Maryah Island’s upper terraces, including performances by Abu and Nadine Lustre. At street level, you can expect to find YoYo Honey Sign and DJ Jazzy Jeff.
In addition to the concerts, large LED screens have been put up around the island to ensure everyone can see the action as it happens.
To get in on the festivities, the Abu Dhabi Police Band will parade through Al Falah Street, playing the UAE National Anthem.
Local DJs will also be present, including DJ Bliss. The Galleria Al Maryah Island has also recruited hundreds of street acts, including jugglers, stilt walkers, statue artists, face painters and clowns.
