Lindsay Lohan has premiered her new single ‘Xanax’ on Dubai Radio.
The new song is apparently about “anxiety and pressure and taking care of yourself.”
Speaking on a popular Dubai radio show, the full song is due to be released sometime in September.
“Would you like to sit next to me? When you kiss me, I can’t breathe/ I try to stay away from you, but you get me high/ Only person in this town that I like,” Lohan sings in the 30-second teaser.
The track will be Lohan’s first new music in 11-years, apart from her guest appearance on Duran Duran’s 2015 album, ‘Paper Gods’. Over the last few months, Lohan has been teasing a return to music, posting a photo of herself in a recording studio last June.
Her debut album ‘Speak’ was released in 2004. She last unveiled music in 2008, with a single called ‘Bossy’ which also served as the theme song of her shortly-lived ‘Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club’.
Currently, Lohan is a judge on Australian TV Show, ‘The Masked Singer Australia’.
