It might not yet have released across certain countries in the GCC, but Barbie is slaying it across the rest of the world, with North American box offices enjoying their biggest weekend since Avengers: Endgame in 2019, and numbers hitting $302 million. So it should come as no surprise that its merch is set to go viral too.
But while Barbie may well be everything, Ken has his stuff going on, too, and this hoodie—which he wears in the movie—is selling out fast on pre-sale. The tie-dye design features Ken’s slogan “I am Kenough” the realisation he comes to after joining Barbie on her journey into the real world. But while his character came to some pretty major realisations in the movie, it seems that Ryan Gosling got a little deep while playing the role, too.
Talking about harnessing his inner Kenergy, he said, “It was like, at one moment I was a human male in my backyard picking up a Ken doll, and then somehow magically I had become that doll and I was being picked up by Greta Gerwig, and the only way to become human again was to just follow her very specific directions.”
