Hart announced on his Instagram he’s headed to Yas Island

Kevin Hart is headed to Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island for his next holiday—and he hints it may actually be more than that.

“Yours truly will be coming that way soon. I’m excited, I’m pumped up,” said Hart in the video posted to his more than 100 million followers.

“I don’t just go hard, I go Hart! Work, sports… Even vacations. That’s why on our next break, I ain’t takin no chances. We’re off to the UAE’s spectacular capital, Abu Dhabi, to take over the world’s craziest entertainment destination, Yas Island Abu Dhabi. World-class golf course, Ferrari rollercoasters, a gazillion water slides and superheroes. How cool is that? There’s even a Grand Prix racetrack for us to take on! Yas Island Abu Dhabi… Get ready to go Hart!”

And here’s where it gets interesting.

“Who knows, I may as well take on a job there for a while,” he writes with a winking emoji.

While at first that may seem to allude to a surprise gig like one he’s done in the past, it’s the “for a while” that has us thinking perhaps it’s a movie.

He wouldn’t be the first star to mix business and pleasure when they came to the UAE. Tom Cruise visited his many friends when filming Mission Impossible 7 earlier this year, and Ryan Reynolds brought his wife and kids to Abu Dhabi when they filmed 6 Underground in 2018. Vin Diesel hung out with a half-lion half-tiger while filming Fast 7. It would make sense for Kevin’s trip to coincide with a new film.

But what could it be? Nothing has leaked as of yet, but we will keep you posted if we’re able to find anything that may mean Kevin was more than just joking.

Or hey, perhaps the next time you’re buying cotton candy at Ferrari World, it’ll be Kevin Hart serving it to you.

He’ll certainly be busy. The island is home to the world’s fastest roller coaster, the world’s largest indoor theme park, Middle East’s tallest climbing wall, and the world’s largest indoor skydiving chamber. The Island also is home to Yas Links Abu Dhabi, the first true links golf course in the region, designed by world-renowned golf course designer, Kyle Phillips.

“We are incredibly excited to welcome Kevin to Yas Island Abu Dhabi. From our award-winning theme parks and attractions, through to our world-class hotels, including W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island and Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island, to a Formula One race track and one of the world’s top 50 golf courses, as well as hundreds of retail and dining outlets: Yas Island Abu Dhabi packs it all. We look forward to welcoming Kevin and his family in the near future, along with holiday makers longing for some Abu Dhabi sun from near and far,” says Liam Findlay, General Manager of Experience Hub, Yas Island.

Hart has been busy as of late doing another odd job: Commentating on the Olympics with Snoop Dogg.
