Three short Sudanese films from up-and-coming Sudanese filmmakers are streaming from July 15 to 18 for free, as part of ArteEast’s Arab Film Series.
The event, entitled Next Gen Sudan, features a selection of films that offer an intimate look at Sudanese youth, and the unique challenges they face as the country sets a new course for its future.
The films will be available to stream on demand, and the series will also feature exclusive Q&A sessions with the filmmakers, including Hashim Hassan (A Handful of Dates), Sarra Idris (Adam & Howa) and Suzannah Mirghani (Al-Sit).
