The Angelina Jolie-starring epic is out in November only in cinemas across the Middle East

Marvel Studios has dropped the first trailer for its next big Marvel Cinematic Universe epic, starring Angelina Jolie.

The film is due out only in cinemas in November across the Middle East, and is one of the most hotly anticipated films on the 2021 release calendar. 

The Eternals may not be the most popular name in the Marvel catalogue, but that’s never stopped them before. After all, who knew about the Guardians of the Galaxy before that first traier debuted?

Here’s a quick recap: the Eternals were originally created by the legendary Jack Kirby, who created Captain America, The Fantastic Four, The Avengers and many more, The Eternals are a cosmic family unlike any other.

 The story spans thousands of years, features a group of immortal heroes forced out of the shadows who reunite against mankind’s oldest enemy, The Deviants.

Skeeter Davis’ “The End of the World,” plays over the opening and close of the trailer, which also gives us a glimpse of the Eteranls and a hint of their unique powers.

Richard Madden as the all-powerful Ikaris
Gemma Chan as humankind-loving Sersi
Kumail Nanjiani as cosmic-powered Kingo
Lauren Ridloff as the super-fast Makkari
Brian Tyree Henry as the intelligent inventor Phastos
Salma Hayek as the wise and spiritual leader Ajak
Lia McHugh as the eternally young, old-soul Sprite
Don Lee as the powerful Gilgamesh
Barry Keoghan as aloof loner Druig
Angelina Jolie as the fierce warrior Thena
Additionally, Kit Harington plays Dane Whitman

The film is directed by Chloe Zhao, the Oscar-winning director of Nomadland (2020).

“Throughout the years we have never interfered, until now,” says an ominous voice in the teaser.
