“A penny for your thoughts?”
Chaos Walking is about an astronaut (Daisy Ridley) crash landing in a future dystopia on a planet of men.
Everyone on the planet (the men, then) are affected by something called ‘The Noise’, which allows their thoughts to be visible. All the women are dead (so we are told) and Tom Holland must help protect and get Ridley somewhere to escape (something? We don’t really know, the trailer doesn’t give much away).
Also, there is a scary monster near the end.
The film is based off the trilogy of books by Patrick Ness. It also stars Tom Holland, Mads Mikkelsen, Nick Jonas and David Oyelowo.
It is slated (heavy emphasis on that word) to land in cinemas on January 22nd.
