New film halts production due to coronavirus fears

Jurassic World: Dominion – the third in the revamped dinosaur franchise – is the latest major Hollywood picture to halt filming over fears of the coronavirus.

Jurassic World 3 only began filming at the end of February in London. The decision for when filming will begin again is to be reviewed in a few weeks.

Jurassic World is just one of many major TV and film projects that have shut up shop due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Dwayne Johnson’s new Netflix film Red Notice has been suspended, as well as Stranger Things and Midnight Mass.

The virus has also affected Vin Diesel‘s Fast & Furious 9 film, as well as pushed James Bond‘s No Time To Die movie.

IN more positive news, Disney has said it will be releasing its digital and streaming services that will help entertain audiences who are currently self-isolation.

As well as Frozen 2 launching ahead of schedule on the streaming service, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is now available to buy on digital services.
