With less than a month to go before Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker hits cinemas, Disney has been rife to play up the fact that this will be the last Star Wars film of the current Skywalker saga.
Ahead of the new film, Disney has released a ‘Special Look’ at the saga – including films and cast from all three trilogies.
The special look gives fans some spoiler-free titbits of the new film, however, including that both Ed Sheeran and Lin-Manuel Miranda will be in the upcoming film.
Lin-Manuel Miranda has a history with the franchise, having composed songs ‘Jabba Flow’ and ‘Dobra Doompa’ for the film. He seems to be playing a member of the resistance.

Ed Sheeran’s face can be seen in the special look also, and it appears that he will be playing some sort of trooper in the First Order.

The original Star Wars saga wasn’t known for cameos in the original or prequel trilogies, however, over the past few years quite a few celebrities have appeared in the films – even if their faces were never shown.
Daniel Craig played a mind-controlled Stormtrooper in The Force Awakens, as did Simon Pegg as junk scavenger Unkar Plutt.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi kept the tradition going strong, including Tom Hardy, Prince William and Harry, and Take That singer Gary Barlow as Stormtroopers. You can also see Joseph Gordon Levitt, directors Edgar Wright and Gareth Edwards, and Mark Hamill’s kids appearing in various scenes.
