Disney is continuing to further strengthen its colossal dominance in the entertainment industry with a new streaming service called Disney+.
Whats more, Disney’s new service is slated to cost US $12.99 a month (which is on par with Netflix’s most popular package at US $12.99)
As we’ve recently heard from Comic-Con San Diego, Marvel (which is owned by Disney), has big plans this year and the following, bolstering its upcoming streaming service with a long list of Marvel content. This is content that marvel fans will need to consume (as it all ties cleverly into the Marvel Cinematic Universe).
Apparently, all Disney releases this year will be on Disney+ – which means Star Wars, Toy Story, Avengers, even things like Bohemian Rhapsody will be available there first.

If this wasn’t incentive enough to give Disney more of your money, the company’s CEO Bob Iger, announced that Disney+ will be bundling up with both Hulu and ESPN+ while keeping the monthly cost at US $12.99.
Hulu and ESPN+ are also falling under the Disney + umbrella, meaning the new streaming service will have everything from sports to documentaries, and even beloved shows such as Rick and Morty and Vikings.
Jeremy Conrad, founder of a Marvel-focused news site, noted that while Disney has less quantity than Netflix, it has a more popular roster. Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars are all owned by Disney and will all be made available on the streaming service.
Iger is aware that they’ll have less quantity than what Netflix has, but they’re relying on the strength of the Disney brands. They have Disney, Marvel and Star Wars. Netflix does not.

The new Disney+ bundle will be made available on November 12, the same day the service is expected to launch.
