Pirelli has released behind-the-scenes images of next year’s iconic calendar.
Nine actresses were invited to portray their interpretation of William Shakespeare’s Juliet. The calendar was shot by Paolo Roversi in Paris and Verona. The calendar will be released in time for December.
Behind-the-scenes images of the shoot – featuring Kristen Stewart and Yara Shahidi – were released, giving fans an early look at next year’s calendar. The theme is ‘Looking for Juliet’.
“I am still searching for my Juliet, and I will be searching for all my life. Because Juliet is a dream,” said Roversi in a statement accompanying the images.
The Pirelli calendar has been published every year since the 1960s. Over the years, it has featured some of the world’s best photographers including Peter Lindbergh, Bruce Weber, Mario Testino, Annie Leibovitz and Karl Lagerfeld.
