It’s the 14th annual Dubai International Film Festival. As per usual, the show attracts all manner of celebrity, and while there’s a whole host of them coming to the city for the awards, there are a few A-listers among them that stand above all else. Here are four of our favourite DIFF celebrities:
Sir Patrick Stewart
Professor X is in Dubai to pick up a lifetime contribution to the Industry Award. Stewart’s list of credentials go back more than 40 years, with noteworthy roles including Jean-Luc Picard and the aforementioned bald mutant professor.
David Harbour
Most recently known as the gruff Police Chief in Stranger Things, Harbour often plays the role of “that guy, you know the guy, who was in that film one time, you know?” But that’s sure to change when he stars in the reboot of Hellboy.
Morgan Spurlock
Morgan Spurlock is in Dubai to promote his latest film Super Size Me 2: Holy Chicken (which premieres at this year’s film festival). He’s posting a Q&A session about his risk-taking career.
Cate Blanchett
This will be her third time on the DIFF red carpet. She’s here to shill for the new Marvel flick Thor: Ragnarok (which is getting rave reviews), and will be head of the IWC Filmmakers Jury for the sixth IWC Filmmaker Awards.
