A massive new book from Taschen celebrates the architect’s life

Few women have left their mark on the architecture world quite like Zaha Hadid did, and now you can pay tribute to the iconic Iraqi-British architect through the release of a new coffeetable book celebrating her career.

From Olympic venues to a world-class airport, Zaha Hadid was a revolutionary. The first female architect to win both the Pritzker Prize for architecture and the prestigious RIBA Royal Gold Medal, Hadid’s sweeping fluid forms defied categorization.

By the time of her untimely death in 2016, she was firmly established among architecture’s finest elite with projects from China and the Middle East to the United States and Russia.

This new monograph from Taschen gathers the complete works of her career, with photographs, in-depth texts, and Hadid’s own drawings that trace her integrated universe of building, furniture, and interior design, including the astonishing Port House in Antwerp (banner image).
