Sheikh Hamdan, The Crown Prince of Dubai, posted a seriously moving tribute to his departed brother, Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Sheikh Hamdan posted on Instagram a photo of the two as children, as well as many other photos of Sheikh Rashid growing up over the years, all of which have been animated beautifully.
It’s been six years since we lost Sheikh Rashid, who died in 2015 from a heart attack. Sheikh Rashid was Sheikh Hamdan’s big brother, the eldest son of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and ruler of Dubai.
Here’s the video, a must watch:
Sheikh Hamdan also included a prayer in the caption.
He also posted seven photos from his childhood growing up in Dubai a couple of weeks ago.
With a caption that only hashtagged #tb, Sheikh Hamdan shared a number of tremendous photos from across his apparently very happy childhood, including one stellar one in which he sports a tan leather jacket next to his father, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Sheikh Hamdan has had a very busy summer, becoming a father to twins, introducing the twins to Uncle Will Smith, helping save his friend’s life, traveling the world, as well as launching Deep Dive Dubai. Read more about each through the links above.
