Twice the size of the London Eye, Ain Dubai will open Thursday, Otober 21

Located in Bluewater Dubai, Ain Dubai is set to open Thursday, 21 October 2021.

Almost twice the size of the London eye, this 250-meter rotating observation wheel is the tallest in the world, with 48 cabins that can hold a total capacity of 1,750 people.

Ain Dubai was most likely launching in 2020 before Expo. However, because of the pandemic, plans got postponed.

Drinks, socializing, and being 250 meters high? That is just what Ain Dubai will offer its visitors this year.

These small cabins showcase a 360-degree view of almost all of Dubai like Bluewaters Island, Dubai Marina and JBR, Burj Al Arab, Burj Khalifa, and even the Arabian Gulf.

Ain Dubai will open daily from 2 pm to 10 pm. Each wheel rotation takes up to 38 minutes.

Visitors must arrive an hour before their time to prepare for the ride.

Due to Covid-19 and the social distancing rules, the cabin now is at a reduced capacity of seven guests when originally it was designed to hold 40.

Outside food and beverages are not permitted. But made to cater to every visitor’s desires, Ain Dubai has a cafe and lounge. Also, riders can pre-order platters and beverages for the rotation — talk about a luxurious Ferris wheel.

The cabins have three categories for a different experience.

Firstly, the Observation Cabins have riders come and take a good look at the city. Secondly, the Social Cabins have family-friendly and 21+ options where riders socialize and enjoy Dubai’s view. Lastly, Private Cabins are ideal for the ultimate experience, with a range of package options.
