Yes, the world is in the midst of its biggest health crisis in decades and yes, Coronavirus is all that’s floating around your social media streams, TVs and Whatsapps groups. But there is a silver lining — the memes from this crisis have quite literally brought us all together for maybe a little bit of a laugh.
While the pandemic is no laughing matter, the memes are just a reminder that life must go on and sometimes (not always) it’s good to focus on the silver lining.
Popular late night show host Stephen Colbert made an interesting quip: “This coronavirus … it’s making people nervous. It’s making people anxious. But I think at a time like this we all need to laugh, to be together,” and then backing away, “from a distance of about 20 feet.”
