The tallest building in the world has a new restaurant – 3BK, and has said that it is “a standalone culinary experience that celebrates the very best in global culinary innovation” as well as paying homage to classic flavours from around the world.
The 250-seat dinner venue is located on the third floor of the Armani hotel.
Decor
Most of the interior is decorated in shades of gold, in different materials as leather for chairs, metal in details and metallic lacquered pillars. Tables are in onyx, both inside and outside, and the sofas are in gold-colored leather.
Floor-to-ceiling windows on the full-perimeter of the space that are decorated with Roman blinds, and the luxurious setting of the restaurant is complemented by an expansive al fresco terrace with views over The Dubai Fountain and Downtown Dubai.
Food
The new restaurant is headed by Esteban Torregrosa. The menu will change according to the seasons and is designed to reflect Dubai’s multicultural demographic. The sharing-style menu honours classic flavours and preparations from Asia and Europe to the Middle East and Latin America.
Signature dishes include a corns filled with trio cheese and kadaif breading, a Scallop stones that marries seaweed cured scallops and yogurt roast garlic jel, an Asian inspired wagyu maki rolls with +9 wagyu beef, foie gras, asparagus and truffle and the miso milk cake, made up of a yoghurt ice cream with black sesame foam, yuzu pearls.
