Marvel is having a bonanza of announcements at the San Diego Comic Con this year. We were introducted to Thor: Love and Thunder and a female Thor, Shang-Chi and the legend of Ten Rings, Black Widow, and so much more.
But one of the most surprising announcement was Marvel’s new The Eternals movie that will star Richard Madden, Angelina Jolie, and Kumail Nanjiani. It’s set for a November 6, 2020 release.
The Eternals will follow on a group of aliends known as Eternals who will use their advanced skills to protect humans in the future.
Richard Madden will star as Ikaris, Angelina Jolie as Thena, Salma Hayak playing Ajak, Kumail Najiani as swordsman Kingo, Bryan Tyree Henry playing weapon-maker Phastos, and Lia McHugh playing Sprite.
Lauren Ridloff will be playing Makkari, the speedy Eternal, and she’ll be the first deaf hero in the MCU.

“It’s about this group of incredible immortals but through their journey we really get to explore what it means to be human and humanity on our time on this planet,” director Chloe Zhao said at Comic Con.
Madden added: “The Eternals are a race of immortal aliens sent to Earth by the Celestials to protect humankind from the Deviants.”
