Floyd Mayweather’s time is money. Quite literally money.
In an Instagram video, the boxing champion showed off his extensive and very expensive watch collection along with some stacks of cash to let his haters know that they can hate away and he doesn’t care.
He said, “You know what’s crazy, people are always in my f—king business worried about what I’m doing. What Floyd is doing, what Floyd ain’t doing. What I do got, what I don’t got. Just know, Imma stay in my lane, I don’t f—k with nobody, and I don’t want nobody f—kin’ with me.”
However, he hasn’t revealed who exactly has been ‘hating’ on him and why.
Speculation on social media suggests that it may be that the reactions to Mayweather’s fight against Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa sparked the series of videos.
“Now if I go on vacation, my fault, when I go on paycation for 30 days, I take 30 watches with me. But you know what, what’s crazy is this: If we add 10 more days, I take 10 more watches. But then I say, ‘f—k it,’ if I want to bring out the one and only, then I bring out the watch that costs $18 million.”
That brings Mayweather’s travelling watch collection to 41 pieces.
The most expensive watch in the video is Jacob & Co.’s $18 million Billionaire diamond tourbillon watch. It was created by Jacob Arabo in affiliation with Flavio Briatore and his Billionaire Lifestyle SARL companyin 2015 and it features 239 emerald-cut baguette diamond stones, each weighing up to three carats.
Mayweather is one of the world’s highest paid athletes. He made $300 million against Manny Pacquiao, $300 million against Conor McGregor and $9 million against Tenshin Nasukawa.
