Back when rap lyrics used to mean something, Busta Rhymes, Big Daddy Kane, Jadakiss, and others ruled the charts, and now all of them are headlining Sole DXB, the region’s most anticipated youth and contemporary culture festival.
This year Sole DXB commemorates 50 years of Hip Hop with an incredible line up of regional and international artists, featuring some of the genre’s most iconic figures. Home to the official celebrations for Mass Appeal’s Hip Hop 50 in the Arab world, the festival returns to the Dubai Design District (d3) this December 8 to 10.
Who is playing at Sole DXB 2023
Saturday, December 9, will see Jadakiss, Big Daddy Kane, Tobe Nwigwe, ODDISEE and master of instrumental hip-hop composition, DJ Shadow, take the stage.
Sunday, December 10, is headlined by the iconic rapper Busta Rhymes, whose discography includes records with Janet Jackson, Maria Carey and Lil Wayne.
This year also brings UAE Mixtape, a showcase of the region’s rap artists including; The Recipe, Tac, Tayeb Santo, A’Y, Maxi Zee and Moh Flow, hosted by Mazzi of Def Jam.
