The newly opened Expo City Dubai is offering free entry to teachers from tomorrow, October 5 until October 8 to celebrate World Teacher Day.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming teachers and assistants from across the UAE with this small token of our gratitude.” said Marjan Faraidooni, Chief of Education and Culture at Expo City Dubai.

Faraidooni would go on to state that teachers are who inspire today’s youth and guide them to become the leaders, innovators and game-changers of the future.
To visit Expo City Dubai site, general admission is free but the attractions cost AED 50 each. However, it is free for those under the age of 12 and people of determination.
Expo City Dubai School Programme
Recently, Expo City Dubai revealed the details of the Expo School Programme. Students will learn about important topics impacting the world today.
There are three different journeys that students can embark upon at the site. The Cultural Journey, The Terra Journey and The Alif Journey.
The Cultural Journey
Located in the Sustainability District on Ghaf Avenue, visitors will start at the Vision Pavilion and will learn about the transformation of Dubai into the modern metropolis it is today through immersive exhibits and displays.
The immersive experience celebrates the insight, values and leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Next, students will arrive at the Women’s Pavilion which highlights the impact women have made on society while discussing the various challenges they still face in the world today. The goal of this journey is to shift perspectives by inviting students to embrace shared experiences and teach them new approaches on how to become closer to a more balanced world.
It costs AED 700 per workshop, per school group of 15 to 30 students and is inclusive of VAT.

The Terra Journey
At the Sustainability Pavilion, students will be taken on an immersive tour of the Earth’s forests and ocean depths to gain a clearer understanding of how humanity’s choices are affecting the environment. It features an immersive science show and a handful of workshops tailored to school groups.

Entry costs AED 700 per workshop, per school group of 15 to 30 students including VAT and AED 30 per student, per show ticket including VAT.
The Sustainability Pavilion can be found in the Sustainability District between Sidr and Mangrove Avenue.

The Alif Journey
Last but not least, The Alif Journey is meant to educate students on the history of mobility and transport them across space and time.
Located in the Mobility District between Horizon and Sky Avenue, students will learn about the beginnings of Arab Civilization, all the way to the Emirates Mars Mission.

They will learn how mobility has driven human progress throughout history and see how artificial intelligence is set to transform the cities of the world and the way we interact with one another.
Prices are set at AED 700 per workshop, per school group of 15 to 30 students and is inclusive of VAT.
