Esquire Middle East lint rolled and donned its favourite jacket to help usher in the beginning of ‘Old Fashioned Week’ in Dubai last night by hosting the latest edition of its famed Supper Club series, in partnership with Woodford Reserve.

A hand-picked selection of Dubai’s finest turned up to the recently anointed ‘Best Bar in the Middle East‘ Mimi Kakushi to dine and shine, while being an advanced tasting of a variety of bespoke cocktails made exclusively of Woodford Reserve bourbon whiskey.

The super-premium bourbon brand will be commemorating its ‘Old Fashioned Week’ from November 1 to 10, 2024. Hosted across dozens of Dubai’s most premium bars and restaurants, Woodford Reserve gave the Supper Club guest a preview into how they can enhance their cocktail experience by indulging in a Woodford Old Fashioned, adding a premium twist to the classic.

Now while we’re aware that the 10-day festivities is technically longer than a ‘week’, going by last night’s antics we doubt that anyone will be complaining.

One of the hallmarks of Esquire‘s ever-popular Supper Club events is that it is hosted exclusively at the region’s most in-demand restaurants, with the award-winning Japanese menu Mimi Kakushi playing the perfect accompaniment to the cocktail menu.

It’s fair to say, that a good time was had by all.
