Things are really heating up for Abu Dhabi comedy week. Not taking anything away from the other exceptional comedians performing, like this dude, or these guys, but Andrew Schulz is one of the raunchiest, most daring comedians working today on the planet, so he will undoubtedly bring his I-don’t-give-a-hoot-about-getting-‘cancelled’ level of jokes to the Abu Dhabi crowd. And Chris Tucker is a man who needs no introduction, but aside from his iconic Rush Hour franchise with Jackie Chan, he was also the highest paid actor in Hollywood once upon a time in his storied career.
Tickets went on sale March 8, and can be purchased here.
Andrew Schulz will be grace the state on May 22, and Chris Tucker will take the late show after Tom Segura’s performance on May 25, all at the Etihad Arena in 2024.
Chris Tucker, known for his timeless energy and ferocious comedic timing, first became known in the 1990s with his appearances on the HBO comedy series Def Comedy Jam. Since then, he has starred in numerous hit films including Friday, The Fifth Element, Money Talks, and, as mentioned, the Rush Hour film series.
Andrew Schulz capped off his last North American tour, Infamous, by selling out the 6,000-seat Radio City Music Hall twice in one night. In addition to the 150,000+ fans who came out to the tour, Schulz’s stand up and podcast content receives 12 million views across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok per week.
Alongside Schulz and Rock, Abu Dhabi Comedy week will feature Bassem Youssef, Tom Segura, Aziz Ansari, and many more.
The Etihad Arena has big plans for 2024, so stay tuned for more updates.
