The beard trend shows no signs of letting up, as proven by the hirsute gentleman who visited the Esquire Townhouse. Fortunately, Chaps & Co. were on hand to primp and preen guests to perfection.
Chaps & Co. took a break from their new home in the cutting-edge, creative centre of new Dubai – D3 – to open a pop-up grooming concept inside our very own Esquire Townhouse. Three of Chaps & Co.’s most talented barbers (including the UAE’s only female men’s barber) taught Townhouse guests about this season’s beard trends, standard facial upkeep tips and a whole lot more.
They were also on hand to give visitors a proper, old-school shave. Unfortunately, Esquire Townhouse is almost over (today is our last day), but fret not. While the Townhouse is shutting down until next year, Chaps & Co. has three locations around Dubai. As well as the aforementioned D3 location, there are two more in JLT and Dubai Marina.
The hip, ultra-modern barbers may be inspired by classic British gentleman’s clubs (think leather sofas and swanky Belmont chairs), but with PS4-equipped flat screen TVs, espresso machines and two private massage treatment rooms it is very much a hideaway for the today’s man.
